One of the high points during Homecoming week was the unveiling of our new UVU logos. We have a new institutional mark, seal, and athletic marks. The reaction to the new marks was very postive. The bookstore is already selling apparel with the new marks. We gave away all of our UVSC Alumni shirts and other stuff at the Homecoming Reunion, so we’ll be ordering new things with the new logos.
This is called the UVU Monogram. It will replace the old “tulip” UV thing that used to appear everywhere. The really cool thing about this mark is the first U. That funny notch thing is the outline of the state of Utah.
This is the UV Logo. It will replace the interlocking UV.
This is the new Wolverine head. He was turned a bit so he’s more two dimensional and has two eyes showing. He looks great on everything he’s appeared on so far.
The next task for me is to figure out how we’ll be using these items for the alumni mark. Any ideas?

Really like the new logos. As far as alumni goes, the top logo would be the best to integrate into an alumni logo. The Wolverine head, as far as I know, is reserved for athletics. Alumni would be sleek underneath the UVU logo.
